Pituffik Space Base commander Space Force Col. Susannah (Susan) Meyers was relieved of command Thursday after a report by Military.com that she had sent a base-wide email to personnel at the Greenland base after a recent visit by Vice President J.D. Vance distancing herself from President Trump's national security policy on Greenland. Meyers had assumed command last July of the 821st Space Base Group at Pituffik.

The article wasn't clear, but I think it said she started at the base as a lieutenant and wound up as a lieutenant Colonel.
How does that even happen in an Army, not at war?  Screams DEI! She wasn't in long enough to understand the COC.

When Nam ended, there was a rank freeze, if you got to PFC, your rank was frozen unless you reenlisted or did something amazing.
The last thing the Army needed was more Chiefs and never enough Indians.
