This was surprising.  I think the camera may still be the hour ahead so this would have been around 7:45 am.

You hear them before you see them.  Toy

Almost reminds me of the foggy pictures of the Loch Ness Monster...  Toy

As much as the mountain lions make me nervous the coyote makes me nervous for our pets.  Don't worry I have seen our cat, Rain, since this video.     Toy

Earlier, there were three cubs, now there are only two. Guessing someone caught it attacking livestock.

See that big cedar? Now come back about 15', that's where I lost 5' of the bank, and this really wasn't that much water, it just lasted a long time.

This bugged me because I had planted two cedar trees about 4' back from the creek after shoring up the bank with rock.
All of it disappeared.
Now I'll have to dig up a couple more and plant them further back.

I bet that creek is running pretty fast by the time it gets off the mountain.

It starts just 3 miles upstream, it's all spring-fed, but during heavy rains, it collects on the mountainsides and comes down pretty fast especially when we get 14" in a weeks time.
We needed it, I just didn't expect it to come in the form of rain, it's usually melting snow.
