There is and I should say was, a movement to steal your private land, all in the name of the environment.
Though convoluted as Hell, there was a plan under the Biteme Admin to steal Federal land, privatize it under the guise of protecting it, while pulling a profit off of it to fund the debt.

Problem is, it would allow our enemies a backdoor to land ownership in the US.
You know, kind of like Canadians, where they pay a fee to be good stewards for the Crown.
This plan would eventually seize control to private land as the Fed would import all private land under the idea that all land was now part of the debt and be able to be collateral for those buying our debt.

If anything, watch the first few minutes, it is really eye opening. But that's not all, this also shows Canadians the real win if they joined the US, they would finally actually own their own private property.

Though we've technically won, we still have to wait on Congress to pass laws making it official.


Canadian law in most provinces evolved from British common law, so instead of directly owning land, Canadians have land tenure. That means they can only own an interest in an estate.

I don't think your average Canadian would know how to act without an oppressive govt, kind of like Stockholm syndrome, they don't like thinking for themselves.
Possibly the same for Greenlanders, it's all they know. Standing up for ones Rights takes a special mentality one grows up with.
