Don't want to sound like a broken record, but this country changed from what we were before the Johnson presidency, and what we became afterward. Johnson still gets my vote as the worst president this country has had.

LBJ was worse than FDR and oddly enough Obama, if not for LBJ, there'd never have been an Obama or Biden.

He was terrible and, for some reason, has escaped the scorn he deserves. He was dangerous because he so able to manipulate congress. His micro managing of the Vietnam war caused too many casualties for many of us in our generation. I was going to funerals way too often in 1968.

The GOP turned a blind eye, they were a part of the Military Industrial Complex. They let LBJ run the show because they were making money.
He is the perfect example as to when neither party represented the people, and it was still that way until TEA went after the party and Trump entered the equation..
