I noticed the same thing, say's things I disagree with, then does the opposite.
This was by far, more action than talk.

Have to ask the question, why did McCarthy not release them? Which democrat was he protecting? Or is his name on a  "list"?

Very likely it is just being part of the swamp. They protect their own regardless of party.
