The Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted a raid on the headquarters of Baltimore's "Safe Streets" program on Thursday reportedly on allegations that the taxpayer-funded community program is somehow mixed up with the very gang members they are supposed to be keeping in check.

The raid sent local Democrats in the city running for cover after so much of the city's tax money has been plunged into the program that was initially meant to help quell street violence but has become an albatross for many over its lack of transparency and accountability.

Programs like these are rife for corruption and abuse, of course. Without imposing serious accountability measures, many become bottomless pits of taxpayer dollars that seem to flow out for no discernible return on investment. And in some cases, the money flows right into the pockets of the criminal gangs the programs are supposed to be mitigating, turning these sort of efforts into a joke.

Glad to see the raid. Only wished it would teach the citizens of Baltimore to stop voting democrat. Got to give the democrats credit, the hell holes they have created will be with us for a very long time.

  They win because the republicans forfeit the election. I wonder how much looking the other way is paying for the republicans? Not as much as the democrats are getting under the table, but it must be enough for them to keep running and then putting up with these sham results.

Sad isn't it? But we were warned in the early 60s that this was all part of the plan to takeover one party and part of the other.
I remember the Communist papers 1963, and how far of a stretch it would be to achieve any of it, but by God, I think they've checked nearly every single box in the list now.

But I am hopeful the we, TEA/MAGA, will steal the GOP for ourselves, there are at least two RINO that I know of already, for certain who won't run because they see the writing on the wall, a Ken Buck and Lisa, something, I can't remember her last name.
But we're still a year out, so there is time to pressure the rest of the turncoats out of the party.

Add another RINO to that list.
