Had all the grandkids over yesterday, no phones, no laptops, they played with the dogs and in the dirt pile with shovels. Later we walked around the hay ring so they could try to pet the calves. None of them stepped in any of the cow sh-t!!!!!!! There just may be hope for the future.    And they are all girls, the only boy is one and was carried.  Reminded me of my favorite times with the cousins. Yeah, we drank grape nehi back in the day.

Shhhhhhhhhhh!    I can not believe my daughter let them! Her first one was the most protected baby out there, now with three, its only call me if they are bleeding.

Yep, sitting on the fence, watching the cattle, hawks catch mice, then a walk to the river and the town of Freeport for a refill.
That's what a day was like when kids weren't allowed back in the house until sundown.

I hope the world they grow up in brings them happiness. I am not all that happy with the church they go to, but they do go to church, every Sunday. I raised my kids to be their own to person, tried to teach them no matter what society throws a them, it is still up to them to set and find what is meaningful to them. You never stop worrying.

Something else the left does not want you to know.
