I live, pay taxes, and vote in Georgia...IMO the Georgia Republicans traded control of the state of GA for the control of the US Senate. How did Brian Kemp and the rest of the GA state republicans win GA by 300,000+ votes and Herschel Walker lose by 55,000+ votes to a slumlord?

IMO...Walker would have voted the Biblical principles first, Constitution second, and party line third.

The ads here in Ga made Walker out to be this violent psychopath that wanted to kill every woman he encountered yet between Walker and Warnock...Warnock was the only one with a mugshot and not one ad depicting this.

In my view Walker was not a good candidate, but GA GOP voters nominated him. This all began when Johnny Isackson had to resign for health reasons. While Kemp has done a good job his appointment of Kelly Loeffler was a disaster. I feel there were better possibilities like Doug Jones(I think that is his name). However, infighting within the GOP undermined the entire state organization.

The name came to me. Doug Collins would have been a better appointment.

Thanks. When I saw by how much he was out spent I didn't think he stood much of a chance.

I still say Trump made the wrong choice. Walker is a RINO and Patriots are fed up with feeding the Establishment.

I see some of the same problems that Georgia has here in Texas. I know a conservative could win the general election, but they will never win a primary here. We have had conservatives run for every statewide office, only to have a rino win the primary. Cruz is the exception, or should I say the closest. I don't know where the money comes from, but when the commercials start, it's one rino after another. Cornyn has to be the biggest rino in Washington, and yes I know that is a hell of a statement. In four years he runs again for reelection, if he wins the primary and Beto runs against him, I will vote for beto, I will never vote for Cornyn again. A damn idiot is better than a traitor.

If memory serves, Cornyn is in charge of the GOP purse, so there is no way a Conservative has a chance, regardless.

Hershel lost by about 100,000 votes. If you go to the trouble of looking up the county returns you will see that the counties around Atlanta (DeKalb county - +200K Warnock, Fulton county - +200K Warnock) were heavily Democratic -- that's where the election was lost.  Until we find a way to change that voter imbalance we will have a difficult time winning any close races where the population centers are heavily Democratic, as they are in a number of Republican and "swing" states.

I think the RINOs have the primaries rigged the same way the dems have the generals rigged.

Totally agree. What good is a "red" state if it puts people like Cornyn into office? BTW, my two biggest beefs about him recently are his "looking into" the "best" way to introduce amnesty, and his writing of the gun bill that does nothing about criminals and is only geared towards the law abiding.
