Ya know what sucks? I dropped out of the tech world when I moved to a remote part of the Sierra, only one radio station came in, TV consisted of one local CBS station and poor quality at that.

Music was out of the question, since cassette tapes was all I had, so I missed the 90s and early 2000s music era entirely.

And now I finally have high speed Starlink, I have decades of catching to do.

I feel your pain. Bought my truck in 2018, after a couple of weeks of having it there was one of those days where talk radio had nothing and I can not stand the music stations of today. So I pulled out the ole Ray Price cd, and  there    was  no  where  to  plug  it  in!!!  They do not put cd's in trucks any more!! Everything is supposed to go over your phone, which I do not have the knowhow or desire to learn.

I said honey, I have mans fingers, I can't text. So she bought me an Ipad, I had totally forgotten about, so she pulled it out and said here: "Text him with this!".

I pretty much only text. Phone service consist of lots of dropped calls, plus I do not hear near as well as I used to, and I don't carry a phone when I am home, like I said, it drops calls. But, I get texts and can send them, maybe not on time, but they will be there. I read much better than I hear, and I can re-read when the memory lapses overtake me, again. It's great for keeping up with the kids, if they are busy they can just answer the texts when convenient. And I hate talking on the phone.

I may finally start texting on the Ipad since it has a large keyboard.
But Taxed is the only person I have long phone conversations with, while others, I'm looking for an excuse to hangup the moment I answer.
Yes, hearing is an issue too, and I even got the latest in hearing aids, yet there they sit.
