That would be an interesting experiment, but would it make them passive, or aggressive?
I think I'll look that one up first. The last thing I wan is an addicted kitty looking for the source. :yikes

Thing is, the fact that very few humans are attacked, is proof most predator's don't hunt humans, they go to great lengths to avoid us.

ONE time, when I was ALOT younger, A friend of mine and I went camping out at this farm that had alot of wild land on it and there had been several sitings of a cougar which was suspected of killing a calf. We actually saw it once for just a moment before it slinked into the grass. That night we both slept with knives on us  but there was no further contact.

With catnip they say it has a different affect whether the cat sniffs it or eats it. Like one makes it more wild while the other puts it to sleep or something like that. Different cats do different things with nip. But ya, with a cougar maybe thats a bad idea 😁

Humans are just too much trouble for most predators. They cant afford to get injured while hunting.

Speaking of cougars, here is a video of a momma protecting her cubs from a hiker. Scary stuff. In fact I think you might have posted this on here long ago...

I don't think I've ever had a cat that liked nip, or the stuff I buy is just crap.
You're Right, lions aren't stupid, it's not like they can go to a local vet.

Almost every attack in Ca has been due to human stupidity. Be it parents putting too much distance between them and their kids, or the 5' 90lb chick in my area, who went out with headphones on and menstruating,
She literally baited one in. She never had a chance.

Sadly this is what happens when libs move to the country, they're literal Darwin recipients.
This chick in particular, lived in a gated community in the foothills near the American river game preserve.
I bet not a one of her neighbors warned her because they were clueless of the dangers beyond the 12' chain link fence.

  Is that why things were so much better in the past? When you had dire wolves and saber tooths to weed out the libs?

No doubt we have always had idiot libs. We have had thieves and robbers since man existed and of course, the oldest profession has been around a long time. So I imagine that segment of society that has always wanted to live off of others while telling them what to do has been around too. I guess that is one draw back of a civilized society, idiots can live.

Im thinking back to like the stone age, when a person simply could not live alone or as a single family due to such large predators like dire wolves, saber toothes, cave bears, cave lions, and there was even a northern European hyena then too.

Junior wont be wondering what gender he is in an environment like that

Kind of off topic, but we had a huge fire erupt over night.
https://twitter.com/search?q=%23MOSQUITOFire&result_type=recent

This fire is about 5 miles to the north of us, though it would need to jump the infamous Rubicon canyon, it wouldn't be the first time it did.
If this occurs, we could easily lose 100 sq miles in days right up to my property and beyond, dry, with a lack of resources thanks to the left.

I woke to smoke around 2:00 am, and it's really smoky outside as I type, literally blotting out the sun.
This fire is going to drive tens of thousands of animals our way as they escape to the South, but will be forced to stay here due to lack of food from the burn in the Caldor fire.
In other words, they'll be staying all Winter long because the Mosquito fire is burning to the N/E into the Tahoe National forest.
This leaves about a 20 by 15 mile wide buffer zone for them to refuge. This is not a big area considering the amount refugees from previous fires.
Yes, I will be feeding them as they pass through.

In the fires way is a major power transmission line running the Ralston ridge parallel to the Rubicon canyon river.
Ca is already cutting power, and the loss of this transmission line will insure tens of thousand s will go without power in the Sacto valley.
Pray for the effected...

I dream of the day a chicken can cross the road with out it's motives being questioned.

Fire jumped the Rubicon, they're evacuating about 4 miles from me.
Not good, County did a lot of work clearing underbrush, hope it will help.... Damn, this really sucks!

Me too! We're listening to reports, and it's not looking good for Georgetown and Volcanoville at this point.
Here's a live view from the lookout tower near me.
