Quote from: milos on August 11, 2022, 09:41:03 AMI wouldn't tell so, I think I "lost" followers because I didn't look average enough. You see, only average can be popular, above or below average is usually rejected. I see number of followers decreasing, and I try to figure out who left, but I can't remember them. Well, some of them.

Nobody even understood that it was not about alcohol but about me posing, that it was not about beer but about Corona. People have become superficial and they don't want to think. Those kind of people who are liking oher people clink glasses every day on their feed, it's disgusting. So, to be honest, I am glad that I got rid of them. I hope only the real people will remain.

I grew up in an alcoholic family, I was abused on many levels, so what? The drink is never guilty, but the drinker. I always say, if you drink with love, it will bring you good, if you drink with hate, it will bring you bad. But I myself can't really get drunk, it's like alcohol is in my DNA, generations and generations of drinkers.

Nikola Tesla said that alcohol is not a stimulant but a veritable elixir of life. "People have been led to believe that alcoholic beverages cause serious injuries to mind and body, while other stimulants, as tea and coffee, are almost harmless. I know from careful observation and lifelong experience that the reverse is more nearly true." In fact, he believed that alcohol's benefits far outweighed any risks: "Alcohol is not a poison, nor is it a drug. In small quantities, it cleans and sterilizes the alimentary channels; thereby preventing infections, and proves a beneficial stimulant to thought, speech and physical exertion." Tesla also claimed that moderate drinkers are "as a rule, long lived and considered by life insurance companies the safest policy holders."

Tesla's respect for the rule of law led him to become a teetotaler during Prohibition, but this change wasn't without tremendous sacrifice. "Only a few days of abstinence made me a very sick man," he said, "and my health became precarious." In a separate writing, he claimed: "Had I not given up daily whiskey during Prohibition, I would surely live to 150 years of age."
Bet if you used a pet/puppy, your numbers would jump.
Sadly, the focal point in your images was alcohol, not you, but a lack of expression with a bottle.

I too was once a photog, I was taught how to create an image, yours projected depression and the bottle was the focal point.
No one wants to be depressed pics when viewing images. Decide what image you want to project first, then run with that.

I don't know, people see differently. A bottle for me represents happiness not depression. Although in the first one the bottle was empty, but the happy part was where the content went. For me it's funny, but everyone sees with their own eyes.

And if I managed to look as an alcoholic, maybe my modelling was successful.

That was my point all along. But if that's the image you want to project, that's your business...

Actually, the whole idea started with this photo I took going to work. It looked sad and cute at the same time, and gave me some inspiration.

I am sick of people who are trying to present themselves always in a positive way on social networks, it is disgusting. It is a part of the New Age ideology of "being positive" all the time. What do I care if they go to gym every day and if they party every night, it is their freaking business. Those kind of people are unfollowing me, and I am happy because they left. I have myself unfollowed all of that kind, except for the ones I knew from the real life.

The real friends will remain whether I post positive or negative content about me. I have a friend from the primary school who commented on my third image that he never tasted alcohol in his entire life and that he stopped drinking fruit juices several years ago, but that he liked my photo. That is a real person, that is the real friend. And not the freaks who always want to "stay positive", little shits.

(Lol, I have tasted alcohol for the first time when I was four or so , once we had some guests and the adults were drinking wine, they all left the room for a moment, and I used it to taste the wine from a glass that was not empty. But soon after I got dizzy , and they figured out what I did.)

I was six. My parents took me to a party at my dads friends home, apparently someone spiked the punch bowl, yeah, it was actual punch, and I drank a lot when no one was looking.
I bounced off the walls for about 10 minutes before it really hit me.
My parents took me home early because I was puking all over the place.

It's rather a long story, but it ended with me being sick the whole next day. Dad laughed, mom was pissed!

I remember smelling brandy or beer from glasses, and imagining what it would taste like. I even used to play with an empty shampoo bottle, filling it with water and then pretending it was beer with foam inside. (Didn't drink it though.)

Meanwhile, during the current lent we are in, I am reduced to this.

Can't escape that depressive look though.

A patriotic one from today, with national mineral water Knjaz Miloš (Prince Miloš).

Prince Miloš (1815-39 and 1858-60) was the first modern Serbian ruler and the only wise one.

It is believed that he was the author of the modern Serbian flag. The national assembly had adopted a red-white-blue tricolor with the coat of arms in the center, but both Turkey and Russia thought is was provocative and inappropriate because it reminded them of the French revolutionary flag. So Prince Miloš reversed the white and blue, and we got our modern red-blue-white tricolor.

He was collecting twice the tax that the Turks demanded from him, giving a half to the Turks, and keeping the other half for himself, that way finding the way to build national institutions and bribe the Turks. He would support both Turkish parties in a conflict, and whoever wins, he appeared to be on his side; basically doing what the Rothschilds did; but he had a Jewish advisor, who also saved his life few times when the Turks were planning to assassinate him.

He adopted the law to protect Serbian private property, in which it was stated that each Serbian household had the right on their house, the land around their house, two cows and one ox, which couldn't be taken away from them in the case of debt or any other circumstance.

Miloš was known for inventing creative punishments. For example, if someone was discovered a homosexual, he would have been put in a barrel full of shit. Then a man would swing a sabre to cut his head off. So the homosexual had two options, either to lose his head, or to dip his head into the shit.

Prince Miloš is known for many anecdotes.

When he started the Second Serbian Uprising against the Turks in 1815, he said: "Here I am, and there you got a war with the Turks!"

There was some man known for cowardice who also want to go fight the Turks, but Miloš replied him: "You sit where you are, because what you are, you are not even for here."

He ruled as an autocrat and he would often ask his minister of state administration: "What are the people saying?" If the minister replied: "People are complaining.", Miloš would say: "Press them more." But when the minister once replied: "People have become silent.", Miloš urged him: "Release the pressure immediately, release the pressure!", because the silent people meant they were thinking of a rebellion.

Once a man was convicted to a death penalty for some crime, and he begged for his life, saying: "Only the Lord is innocent." But Miloš replied: "That is why we don't judge the Lord."

Miloš the Great.

Wanna see what members look like?

Imagine me....................OLD, TIRED and UGLY.

And if you still like me, you win the prize!

Actually, with facial recognition, who wants to risk it?  I just got an adorable new dog, adopted from the humane society, and I refuse to even post her picture!  She is a remarkable-looking little woof and it would be too easy to go to the humane society website, identify her, and then identify me.  Who knows how strict their standards are?

So use your imagination.

Let's just say, youth was wasted on the young! :sneaky:

God's cruel joke, we should be born old. That way, by the time you hit diaper stage, you're too old to care.

Oh wait, it's almost the same thing.
