We're pretty sure this is the same family from last year. They are good stewards of the forest, I love these critters, they've never bothered us.

Nah, they never bother us. Almost 35 years now, and I've never had a single issue with the wildlife, and that's been after dozens of fires.. 
Though I may have to start feeding them, something I've always been against, but these fires are our fault, not theirs. So, just some extra grub to help them on their journey.

We had just decided to move this camera when we caught this one.

It's a young yearling, maybe 9 months old or younger.
May be the offspring of the other blond/cinnamon we saw earlier in the same area.
Maybe her cub from back in June.

Stood about 6' up, climbed through the screened window and broke shit inside.      

I laugh because I warned them this could happen, but they didn't listen.

Absolutely!
They have the intellect of 5 year old's, and the patience of a one year old, and the strength on 20 super strong men.
They can be nice as long as you don't startle them, deceive them, or tease them.
I've had encounters over the years, but never violent because I've never given them reason to fear me.

Grizzly Adams once told a story of a bear he gave a snowball to.
The bear was delighted, rolled it around on his belly, tossed it in the air, just having a blast, until it broke into a pile of snow.
The bear couldn't understand what just happened to his toy, it set him off, Adams said the bear was pissed, literally went into an uncontrollable rage, started breaking shit all over the place.

Moral of the story? Don't fuck with bears!
