If I'm not mistaken, there is no law from preventing ownership of a fully armed tank.
All these bogus laws were aimed at the individual from holding govt accountable. They failed so far....

Not everyone can afford a tank, but most can buy a gun.

I believe it's quite legal to own a tank, but the cannon has to be mechanically disabled. Usually the breech block is removed and the chamber is drilled through. The NFA governs, and permits under the NFA are rare as hen's teeth.

In-depth background check, permission from your local police, insurance requirements, security requirements, testimony from at least two upstanding citizens, fingerprints, passport-type photo, and of course a transfer fee of $200.
