The emergency use order is only in place for children under 16, as was clearly stated in the FDA's press release. The FDA is still waiting for clinical trial data to fully approved the vaccine for use on children under 16.

While Monday's approval doesn't cover young people ages 12 to 15, they can still get the Pfizer vaccine through emergency use authorization.
