I was told Insurance would cover it...  I did the co-pay, my 20% came out of my HSA account, which we had maxed out, for emergencies.  So, that should have been 100% of the cost:  80% by Insurance, 20% by me, right?  Wrong.  I signed on the line that said I would be responsible for any additional costs not covered by Insurance - and that started coming out of my savings.

Read somewhere, when people get old, they lose control of that mental function which keeps them from just BLURTING out some of the meanest things their mind conjures up.  Heard my 84yr old father-in-law say something really NASTY about wifey... she insisted... wish I never repeated it, she's his favorite, and he really torched her.  Joe Biden strikes me as one of those mean-ole-nasty-SOBs, and his heartlessness is just oozing out everwhere, everytime he's off mic.  All that nastiness just comes out - sorry Dick, you need to check that.

Donald Trump is just the opposite, IMO, he loves people, America, and isn't afraid to let-his-guard-down, his patriotism flows out, just as natural as a Founding Father.  That's the thing, this is the place to float ideas, encourage, re-arm with greater arguments & deepen defenses for winning the faint of heart over to our side.  There *IS* a limit to sarcasm... IMO.

If you wanted to start a thread about the evils of socialism in medicine, go for it, you will have many who agree with you.
