Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo couldn't wait a full day before looking forward on social media to the 2024 election.

Less than 23 hours after President Joe Biden was sworn into office, Pompeo took to Twitter to provide a countdown to the next presidential election.

"1,384 days," Pompeo posted at 10:17 a.m. Thursday.

The tweet prompted speculation that the former congressman and ex-director of the CIA might have his eyes on the Republican nomination.
