There is this village northeast of where i grew up called Tintern. it is famous for two things. First the 10th century abbey the village sprung up around and secondly the William Wordsworth poem "Lines Composed a Few Miles above Tintern Abbey" . The abbey and village are situated on the river Wye. it's my favorite place on earth and i go there as often as possible.

I listen to music on the internet (live 365). One of the channels I listen to plays really obscure music from the 1960's.

Right now you are all wondering what the hell I am talking about...

I was in my office listening to Live 365 and the song comes on that I have never heard before. it immediately had my full attention because it was so different. It reminded me of the river and the abbey and walking along the river in the morning when the mist rises off the water. I really can't explain it. Anyway I never looked at the computer screen to see what the song was called. But I knew the stations played songs in loops So I waited. An hour or so later the song came on again and this time I looked.  The song was called "beeside" Which is ironic as it was the A side of the 45 that they released.

The name of the band? Tintern Abbey

Tintern Abbey - Beeside (UK Freakbeat 1967)

How weird is that?

If you believe big government is the solution then you are a liberal. If you believe big government is the problem then you are a conservative.
