The hospital that I work has given the option as well. It's about 50/50 on the nurses taking it from who I've spoken to.

Not really surprising. Just a personal choice.

I'll bet a lot of this is because they know the TREATMENT strategies they have are so successful, they need not worry about preventing anything.  Why take a trackable vaccine with a smaller that normal testing window, when you can take an antibody cocktail and be done in a few days.
Plus, If there are potential side effects, they would be the ones that know about it.

Canada knows how important it is to get the vaccine out with great urgency.  So much so that they closed down vaccination centers during the holidays.  I guess the virus becomes inert during riots and holidays.  Remember folks, over reaching huge government is here to help.
