For 8 miserable long years I never used President and Obozo Oboma in conjunction with one another, just couldn't bring myself to recognize the nation had placed a Marxist in the WH.
Today I said President Trump and it's OK, surreal, but OK, we'll survive, maybe even possibly thrive for a change.
Point being it's all over, not just the fact that we are rid of a communist and his party, but for the first time since Reagan, we have chosen a new path.
Good or bad, The next 4 years will be different for an entire generation to have ever experienced, even to the point they may see real hope for a future.
Just thinking out loud, and recognizing history unfolding before our eyes.

Interesting point you make there, Solar.  My dear bride and I were just talking a couple of days ago about what we are going to call the man who won the election.  POTUS...The Donald...Trump...etc.  We mutually decided we would call him President Trump.  Has a nice ring, don't you think?

It does, it grows on ya, and I didn't even vote for the guy, which is why I started this thread.
Point being, Trump may have had a split on the popular vote because a lot of us wanted nothing to do with what essentially panned out to be a usurper and stealing what should have been the conservatives return to office.

However, with that said, Trump is starting to show a special style, one the GOP has never witnessed, someone that despises the idea of PC, refuses to kowtow to Marxist media and has a gift for bypassing their traitorous asses and taking it straight to the people, and this scares the living crap out of the Marxist appeasers in the GOP, and rightly so.

Yes, the GOP so despised the base, that they were willing to take a chance on a former Dim over the likes of a proven Constitutional Conservative, and it just might turn out to lead to their very own demise as a power in DC.
I admit I may be reading "TEA" leaves a bit prematurely, but I'm not seeing any love between POTUS and the likes of Ryan, McCain or McCONnel, but I'm seeing a Cabinet full of people that can get the job done, which leads me to believe Trump will be counseled by some of the best.

I still dont like the guy. I am getting really sick of the "trump worship" everywhere. Makes me sick.

So what was the alternative Hillary?   There not one thing that President Trump has done yet that has make me sick YET!!!  But it only his first week. I am sure some place down the line he will piss me off.  But then I piss myself off now an then sometimes also.

I do know on faceplant people are posting pics of trump and a ghost of Jesus guiding him as he signs things and I have seen several posts saying we have finally returned god to the whitehouse. Makes me want to puke. This guy is a spoiled rotten narcissist who has skirted the law most of his adult life and in my opinion is likely a pervert. He has said he has never done anything in his life to have to ask god for forgiveness yet these people act like he is the second coming of christ. Facebook is the only media I use. I have alot of grandkids. I havent watched a news channel in 2 years. Didnt watch the inauguration either.

Yeah, my brother is in the same boat because he has 5 grandkids and it works to keep in touch, but does he come up with the strangest shit sometimes, all because some rumor started by a bunch of ignorant kids, so he calls me to see if it's true.
