Community leaders have planned a rally in New York on Wednesday to make the request.

"Millions of law abiding undocumented immigrants are fearful of what will happen when the new Administration takes control in January," the group said in a statement announcing the rally. "However, President Obama has the power of pardons that he can use to protect all DACA enrollees."

As of September, more than 740,000 illegal immigrants had been approved for Mr. Obama's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, a mini-amnesty that grants young adult illegal immigrants a two-year stay of deportation and issues them work permits, entitling them to driver's licenses and some taxpayer benefits.

That would be great for Trump because it removes one massive headache.

I know we just have over three days before inauguration as I post this. However, these three days could be filled with much, especially considering Obama's dislike of this country. Therefore, I thought it would be beneficial if we combined those into one thread.

I will begin with a piece of positive news. FNC reported this morning that moving vans have been spotted in front of the home Obama has leased indicating their belongings were being moved into the home. Actually seeing him out of the WH will be wonderful.

Does anyone actually believe Obama will follow the tradition of former presidents keeping their mouths shut once they've left office?

Didn't he already promise not to keep his mouth shut after leaving office? I think he said he plans on loitering in Washington for as long as Trump is president.

Public marches are being organized in every major city to protest Trump's inauguration, don't these people have jobs? I actually got invited to some sort of women's march on Friday morning, just because I'm a woman.
This is all ridiculous to me, Trump won, your democracy still works, time to move on and go to work.

You just snagged an opinion piece from a leftist rag hell bent on destroying our Republic.
We are a Representative Republic, meaning we have laws governing our election process where the smaller states and counties get an equal say in the process.
Had we been a Democracy, Clinton would have won because the East and West coasts carried the popular vote.
