BS, yes you are!!

Read the damn board and you would not have to ask.
BS again!  Every posts your pushing Trump.

Trust me I'm old enough to be your father or even your grandfather.

Well to be my father you would have to be in your 80's so I very much suspect you are not old enough to be my grandfather.  My grandfather was borne in 1897.

I am not certain how you can read my mind but do not know how old I am.  Which really does not matter but I have been reading many posts and I just do not see how you envision to get to the conservative country you seek.   I think that as our country moved from Bush to Obama the clock has been ticking where the opportunity to turn this country around is running out.  I think the two minute warning has been issued and I believe that if Hillary wins, the conservative team is out of time outs and does not have the ball.  I think that Donald might give the chance for a Hail Mary.  A far cry from pushing Trump.  I think we are going to be put into liberal Utopia AKA Totalitarian dictatorship and have not seen a post that explains what actions will turn this mess around.

What is the next best act of defiance that will begin to turn the tide?

How old do you think Walks is?

It's past.  That's the point.  If you're going to vote for Trump, then fine, but don't insult our intelligence that he's a chance to save conservatism.

I was saying he would provide more time for conservatism to be saved.  I can understand some of the arguments but if they are true than we are already making that walk to the shower rooms.

I may have the optimism of Baghdad Bob but I do not like to believe that we the people let the US become a socialist/communist/totalitarian state so easily.

maybe Walker is 80 then he could be my father.

That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard in a while.

Hillary is too much for him.  I know you think it's like a boxing match, but it's not.  Trump really was selected to feed to Hillary.  He had no shot.

So conservatism in American politics is dead?
Trump barely had a shot if nothing negative came out but he provided lots of material to be used and what wasn't good enough the media would spin to make it even worse.  So a vote for Hillary is better than a vote for Trump. Ok

No.  We just need to regroup and strategize.

Nobody is saying Hillary is better.  Vote for whoever you want, but don't say silly things like Trump can help conservatives.  That's crazy.  He's a radical liberal.  He's Bill Clinton without the personality or smarts.

What does trump have to do with conservatism? Liberals crossed over and handed trump the primary win. Now we have two liberals running for president. If we would have had closed primaries, hillary would be one step closer to prison, and trump could be making more reality shows.

The honest truth is that I'm so afraid of Hillary that I am tempted to vote for Trump.  Those on the board that know me from other places know what a tremendous turn that is from my usual position.  I didn't like Romney or McCain or Bush because I thought they were big statist liberals, and I didn't see any significant difference between them and the people they were running against; but they weren't running against Hillary.

Yeah... I hear ya, but it probably won't make a difference in the short run, and in the long run be even worse.  How do you defend Conservative principles with a life-long, full-blown, proven, Liberal at the head of your Republican Party?!

I'd be tempted to vote Trump - just to see Hillary go away, Prison, I hope - but even if He did win, they're friends, he's gonna say she's suffered enough, she has health problems, etc., and let her slink away.  Hillary is NOT going to prison - that's just a Trump "throw away point" for conservative consumption.

The KEY, and don't be taken in by emotional appeals, the KEY is the House and the Senate.  Forget the POTUS, IMO, it's a completely lost cause to imagine we'd have a conservative in the WH.   What hope is there, Trump croaks 2 weeks after being sworn in and Pence takes over...?  Bush people might have secretly hoped, pinning voodoo Reagan dolls, casting spells, etc., in 1981.  Regardless (or is it irregardless?  LOL) of the next POTUS, it's gonna be a rough ride, whether we see Obama's mess unwound or not.

Hearing Ryan come out and speak about the down ballot races today - well, IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!

This should get a few keyboards smoking...

Can anyone identify this statesman?
He was in the legislature for 40 years.
For the first 30, he was a very outspoken liberal.
Then he was quiet for about 5 years.
He then became very outspoken again,
warning about what the socialists were doing,
and that his nation had better get its act together,
because they have a really serious fight coming their way.

Okay, the parallel is not perfect.
Trump has never been in any legislature,
and has never been very much of a principled anything.
Over the years, his political comments have leaned left,
but have usually been more like offhand remarks,
not an ongoing campaign for any particular set of principles.

Anyway, has anyone recognized the statesman I described?
Here are the 10 RINOs who voted to impeach Trump on Jan. 13, 2021 - NEVER forget!
WY  Liz Cheney      SC 7  Tom Rice             WA 4  Dan Newhouse    IL 16  Adam Kinzinger    OH 16  Anthony Gonzalez
MI 6  Fred Upton    WA 3  Jaime Herrera Beutler    MI 3  Peter Meijer       NY 24  John Katko       CA 21  David Valadao

He was in the legislature for 40 years doesn't meet my criteria for a citizen legislature.
We're not suppose to be electing these guys for LIFE - thanks for reminding us why TERM LIMITS are necessary.

Down ballot is so important in this election cycle. One example is the NC senate race. Richard Burr (R) is no conservative, but his opponent is a leftist woman who is a lawyer for the ACLU. Need I say more?

Politically Correct, elitist, fat cat aka bedwetting repoublicans scared to death Trump will win.

Led by the pussy-whipped Paul Ryan they are an embarassment to anyone and everyone that wants to get America back on the right track.

Now John McCain the phoney war hero has joined up with them...he was very quite for a long while fearing his phoniness would be exposed...now obviously thinking there is blood in the water he wants to jump and try and help stop the Trump crusade.  He is a pathetic loser and spoiled son of a admiral...that is all he ever was and all he will ever be.

My biggest concern is the Supreme Court.  Trump picks would be questionable.  There will be NO QUESTION about what Hillary will pick.

Think either one of them would be willing to put a protestant on the court?
