What are you talking about?  EVERYBODY expected Donald to win NY.  Cruz won 5 states in a row, loses NY, and you make like it's a big deal.  It's not.  This changes nothing.

It really annoys me we're having this conversation.  Everyone knew Donald would clean up NY.  If this is a surprise to you, then you need to pay attention.

As a whole, I knew Trump would clean up in NY, but I expecedt far upstate to not go for Trump as big as it has. I expected for Trump to be under 50% in about 9-11 CDs where as it looks like he is under 50% in only 3 or 4. In this election year, the difference of 7-10 delegates is more meaningful that its been in a long long time.

I expected Hillary to clean up NY.  And she did.  Look at their vote counts.  Donald would lose his home state, badly.  Nobody had any expectations of Cruz winning NY.

You need to cut out your "sky is falling" crap.  It's starting to annoy me.  There is nothing bad about Pence meeting with Trump.

LOL.. Annoyed??

Not one person here (well most of us anyways) ever believed for one second Cruz would win NY.. at best we were hoping Trump would stay under the magic 50% but knew that was an uphill climb.. Good grief, the guy won his home state and all of a sudden once again MrConservativeinhisdreams is all worried and oh so scared that Trump is going to sweep the rest of the states..   :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared:

The biggest thing I took away from this is how badly Donnie loses his home state to Hillary!  Can't wait to watch them try and spin out of that.

I'm a pessimistic person. When things are bad, then tend to look 10 times worse to me. When things are good, they look average to me. I try to be optimistic but at the first sight of possible bump in the road, my initial reaction is that I take it as the sky is falling - such as seen with my earlier fear of Cruz losing Indiana.

Why the "MrConservative-in-his-dreams? Just because I'm more of a pessimistic person, and it's shown tonight, is no reason to doubt my conservatism.

Fine, but things aren't "bad".  Don't try to make them sound like they are.  We're winning.  Donnie finally won a state.  He still has less delegate wins than Cruz this month, and will continue to get slaughtered after NY.

And that does not include the crossover voter who would not vote for him in Nov.

I think there was a lot of that going on.  Hillary wants Donnie served to her on a silver platter.

Dude, the more Ted Cruz is hated in NY, the better it plays to the rest of the country.  It's fine.

I agree. Flyover Country hates the East Coast for damned good reason, considering how we've been portrayed by the same media comprised of Midwesterners who fled there. Anybody New Yawk likes, we're likely to mistrust at best. Support for Cruz has been public and early, far ahead of any Trump or Sanders signs. I mean 4x8-foot yard signs on front yards along state highways.

Be of good cheer. The convention is ahead and the old style GOP is about to get its ass kicked, all for a good cause. The Young Turks aren't so young any more and the Cruz Cruise is about to begin. Have your ticket ready when the conductor passes through.

The bottom line. All yesterday did was confirm there are very few conservatives in NY. No surprises.

Yep, who gives a F*%k if we lose New York by 15% or by 20%.

This whole myth that trump would put blue states into play....what a joke
