MEH - Ask a Liberal what state John McCain was born in...   When they say "unorganized territory...", answer, "Yea, that's how Libs leave 'em"

The Party was already in a 'very precarious situation' until Ted announced his candidacy, Don.  Get with the program.

What the hell took him so long?

He let the media milk the preliminary stuff as long as they liked. Free advertising. Now it's on to the "By the way, isn't he ineligible?" maneuver. Yawn. By the way, isn't Donald lucky Daddy had money, so he didn't have to work for Mafia contractors to build things like Trump Tower?

An INTERVIEWER, not Donald Trump, raised the question.
Donald responded rather mundanely.

This is YET ANOTHER case of the MSM trying to manufacture a controversy,
trying to goad the candidates into doing the media's dirty work for them.

Trump and Cruz are both not taking the bait.

The whole story can be seen at (this site whose pages don't take forever to load!):

Sorry je, I have WATCHED Trump and seen him plant seeds of validity to this question.  He is obviously trying to bring this issue to the forefront in people's minds.

He is NOT as innocent as you portray him!

You are a sucker if you think he is not attacking Cruz!

All those questions have been answered by the current Resident.  Anybody can be elected as US President.  The thinnest fume of American citizenship can be construed as "Natural Born Citizen."

Nope! The Marxist has yet to unseal his records, so his status is still up for debate.
Cruz on the other hand is Natural Born according to the law.

The Naturalization Act of 1790 probably constitutes the most significant evidence available. Congress enacted this legislation just three years after the drafting of the Constitution, and many of those who voted on it had participated in the Constitutional Convention. The act provided that "children of citizens of the United States, that may be born beyond the sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural-born citizens."

Then in 1940 the Bill was amended to include the mother, regardless of father's citizenship status so as to cover children born abroad "Natural Born" status during war in the event of death,
