All jesting aside, if the Bible read according, I think It would actually make more sense. I think women are more kind, smarter and better suited being maternal and all. My wife made me write that.

Yes, women possess all those qualities because God created them to be a helpmate.  They tend to be genetically inclined to want to help others.... most of all their mate and offspring.

However men have traditionally been the providers and protectors.  That is intuitive to their genetic makeup.

Therefore it makes much more sense for God to be a male.
