Thank you, ST. We are soon going out to eat at  #1 China Buffet. There went my diet because Chinese is a weakness of mine.  :-[

For mothers day, I bought gas. :P

Gas is my gift to Mom. LOL. Gas is expensive, so I hope she likes her gift.

My youngest drove up to her sisters and surprised me.  We went shopping - our favorite pastime.  And then they took me to dinner and gave me a $50 Kindle card....now I can order a bunch more books to read.  :) :)

My oldest always makes my card - as always it was really nice.

Glad you and Rachel had a good day - and good choice on the gas..it is expensive.

These days gas is a good gift choice.  As to my Kindle reading I have reread some classics like Little Women and Anna Karina.  Then I got a good deal on some titles so I am reading the Gregor the Overlander Series (I've read 3 0f the 5), the complete Trylle series, and the Hunger Games.   I m also a big fan of Tim LaHaye and have read everything out so far in the Babylon Rising series.   In case you didn't notice I love to read.  :)

WOW! ST, you are really into your reading. I picked up on TV at your home so reading is good entertainiment.

Rachel is an avid reader. I took her to the library when she was in 4th grade to pick out some books. After about 10 or 15 minutes in the library, I walked up to empty handed Rachel.

"Hurry and pick out some books, Rachel!"

(ST, she loved picking out 4 to 10 books at a time so I had to motivate her since I had an appointment to keep.) Rachel looked at me~

"Mom, I have read everything here."  :o 

She really wanted me to read a book a few years ago and I just didnt get to it. I hope to read it this Summer. I used to really enjoy reading.

I had stopped reading and then Solar bought me the Kindle....my addiction was re-Kindled. :)) :)) :))

I am sure you can zoom in and out making the letters larger or smaller. I would enjoy reading once again if I had a Kindle!
