What has been going wrong with the Republican party the last couple elections.  Politics as usual explained.  The reason so many Americans are having an identity crisis.

People are all over the map politically.  There aren't two separate mindsets, there are dozens.
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

Remember Mitt met with Jeb prior to saying he wouldn't run? Now Jeb is imploding they want to bring back another RINO! The party establishment is flouting Romney as a back up to the other RINO's that are blowing it!

Conservatives, believing as they do in individual thought, will necessarily be splintered in their political points of view. You have Beltway Republicans, Tea Party republicans, Libertarians (and even so-called Beltway Libertarians), Log Cabin Republicans, and who knows what all else.

Liberals, by definition, believe not in individual thought, but collective thought. So they think, talk, and act in lockstep. There is, in reality, very little dissent within their ranks.

The anger most American's feel towards the RNC leadership. And particularly at the Congress is totally justifiable. Americans should be pissed off when politicians run for office on this or that platform. Saying and promising that they'll do A, only to then either do nothing at all, or B when elected.

As for example is the case with Obamacare. The American people gave the RNC control in the Congress to the RNC for basically two reasons.

One, get rid of Obamacare.

Two, hold this President (and his underlings Ahem, Lerner,  Clinton, Kerry, Holder,) accountable for it when/if they violate/break the law.

Both of which, the RNC leadership has steadfastly refused to do. I mean hell they didn't even insist/see to it that heads rolled when the Secret Service had agents driving around Washington D.C. drunk.

Lets see average Joe American do that, and get away with it scot free as these "agents" did. Americans are tired of, and never have tolerated. A system of laws and justice for the political elite, and another for the peasants.

That said however, the American political field, from day one in the Continental Congress, has always been littered with various idea's/ideologies. This is why it took them so long to even agree to send a Declaration of Independence.

That's what you get with a melting pot of citizens, in fifty little independant laboratories called States. :)
One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)

We have gotten a big fat zero.  Things keep getting worse and worse.

I agree that Republicans are split.  This is unfortunate.  As I said before there are the Americans that don't feel represented because most of the representatives of our party cater to business.  I am not anti-business.  I want our country to be business friendly but I also want them to be American friendly.  I want tax breaks for small business so they can prosper and hire.  I want them to hire Americans.  I want government to work with business not push it out with unreasonable EPA expectations.  I want business to stay here and be rewarded for doing so.

I want my party to say we represent you too.  We represent your hard work and your ethic to work and raise a family in America.  I want my party to be my party.  I work I don't claim welfare.  That should be rewarded in America.  I am a functioning part of society.  Give me a break would you?  That is why there are Trumpeteers.  I am liking Carson.

And I find it incredible that they would want to pull Romney out of the recycle bin.  He is about as far away from most Americans as anyone can get.  I voted for him.  Didn't want to.  If I had to do it again I would probably write my own name in.

I am sick to death of having no choice but to hold one's nose, and either vote for the blatant liberal, or vote for the liberal who is pretending to be something else to get votes.

I think, lots of Ohioan's around here have just about had enough of that b.s. out of Kasich and Boner though, so I may be among the least objective when it comes to that.

That's the message ALL of US need to be telling the GOPe, they need to know the base abandoned their worthless asses.
This is why I refuse to vote for another Establishment pick, ever again.
I'd rather give it to the Marxists and fight them in Congress than give it to the Marxist enabling GOPe where we lose our voice entirely.
