Kroz coin currency hasn't fared well period. Most people don't like coin currency at all, because of the fact that in part at least, it's more cumbersome to carry fifty dollars in quarters dimes and nickels and pennies, than it is to carry four or five pieces of paper folded up. LOL

Besides, why the push to put any "new" currencies out? I thought our gov wants us all to go to a cashless society anyhow.

I know that's the reason they gave, when they forced everyone to get things like Social Security payments, or VA payments direct deposited, electronically. To then be drawn off using a card.

Rather than sending a paper check so ya can go to the bank and cash that.

Everything the Left does is about "control" and killing conservative thought.

I'm with you.... we don't need more forms of money OR expensive changes in the current currency.  It is totally unnecessary and expensive.  So, you have to look beyond the issue for the true motive.  There always is one!

Cashless societies would in theory make it far easier to control people simply by blocking an electronic account. It's the tech version of disappearing you...or tracking every purchase you make and where you did it. To succeed at it means beating good old-fashion American barter system, that "black market" where Big Gummint can't tax it.

I do believe bartering will make a comeback of sorts.  Some people will be forced into it economically.

A lot of it is just farmers helping each other when needed in my area.

A lot of 150-year-old barns in my area were raised that way. Clearing stumps sometimes got done by group effort. Supplies got grown and traded. People got to really know the ones around them. The sharpsters got caught and the honest thrived.

Last week on Fox & Friends, they were talking about a black market in school cafeterias.  Kids are selling things like salt/pepper/sugar packets, bagged Oreos etc., because the new Michelle O food restrictions taste horrible.
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.
