I read somewhere a while ago that there was a study that SCOTUS justices get more liberal the longer they serve the Court. Has anyone else heard of this, or is there any merit?

Well, that certainly is not true of Scalia, Thomas and Alito ..... who are all standing firm!

A Bill has been introduced in the House by a Texas Congressman to force all the Supreme Court Justices and their staff onto Obamacare SCOTUScare.

"As the Supreme Court continues to ignore the letter of the law, it's important that these six individuals understand the full impact of their decisions on the American people," he said.
"That's why I introduced the SCOTUScare Act to require the Supreme Court and all of its employees to sign up for ObamaCare," Babin said.

Babin's potential legislation would only let the federal government provide healthcare to the Supreme Court and its staff via ObamaCare exchanges.

"By eliminating their exemption from ObamaCare, they will see firsthand what the American people are forced to live with," he added.

  They should do that for every person in government.   From the very top down.  But it would have to be done in 2017, b o would not allow it.

The Supremes did it again............ abnormal ruled normal....

I know from a certain political point of view homosexuality is considered "abnormal". But is it really? After all it does occurr in nature, in other species of animals. So how, outside of our own created moralities, do we say what is or isn't normal?
One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html

My dad, born in 1916, apologized to me for his generation setting the seed for Marxism to grow.
He said it was his generation that forced SSI down our throats giving the govt a means in which to steal the wealth of the working class, and a system in which to keep tabs on every single citizen.

No, it wasn't our generation, it was their responsibility to guard the gates, he said they failed.

I sure would like to find out.

It would actually put him in a Catch 22.  If he vetoes it, he is admitting his Hallmark legislation is undesirable.

So, I would expect him to sock it to the Court and force them onto SCOTUScare! ..... after all, they put their own stamp of approval on it!!!
