Why Do Mass Shootings of Black People Only Get Covered When a White Man Pulls the Trigger?

Last year's bloodiest Chicago weekend saw 82 shot and 14 killed in one weekend.

Those are the kinds of numbers that give the city its Chiraq nickname and the victims tend to be black. That's something they have in common with the victims of the latest mass shootings.

But they don't get the same kind of coverage because the shooters were also black.

The media has decided that black lives only matter when a white man takes them. Mass shootings don't matter when black people kill other black people.

They only matter when they can be used to reinforce a narrative about white people.

Either black lives matter or they don't. But the media insists that black lives only matter when they can be fitted into a narrative with white villains or heroes.

The black on black murders and this one in SC are similar, in the sense that the majority of them are committed by young males.  Raised without any moral core and a history of dysfunction and drugs.  Until society starts at the very root of who are committing these crimes, they will continue. 

I'll bet we could go back for the last ten years and not find one of these cases where drugs weren't involved.

I'm sure you are right in your assessment, but then that wouldn't fit the leftist agenda of racism. The left doesn't care that blacks or whites are being slaughtered across the country, they only care about those that support their goals of racism against whitey. To admit that the drugs might be a reason would then undermine their goals, therefore they discount that fact.

Statistics back these facts up:

Most violent crime in the US is committed by young black males with other young black males being the likely target.

There is far more violent crimes committed by blacks against whites than there are committed by whites against blacks.

Also remember we are dealing with REPORTED crime.....unreported crime the stats naturally increase.

There's a difference in this particular incident.

MOST (of course not all) black on black crime involves 2 pretty nasty people. Rush would refer to them as "wandering shreds of human debris." If pimps, drug dealers, robbers, rapists and thieves, turn on one another, does anyone really care? I don't. Yeah, I know the innocent do die in these incidents -- SOMETIMES. But by all accounts, THESE were good, decent people gunned down on SACRED ground by a madman.  THESE lives really do matter.

ALL lives do matter, until they cross the line.  Then it should be swift justice,  let the justice fit the crime. 

Looks like they are moving into the Oak Park / Cicero area.  Fifteen years ago, that dark blue would have been South of the Loop. Note also that crime statistics now tend to consider Chicago and those suburbs as separate recording districts. A recent report showed Chicago murders at a five year low, 42. The regional report showed an all time high, 86.

Under the cover of the Obama Admin, it appears criminal domination of cities is on the territorial acquisition. This would be consistent with the Clinton connection.

You can also see the lighter blue regions emanating from the criminal power base, which is South Chicago.  Notice that Cicero seems to be a consolidation point. That's Al Capone's old haunt.  Would not want to be unfairly characterizing it as a narcotics and mafia outpost. Much of that area around the Eisenhower Expressway and Oak Park was quite nice 40-50 years ago.  Gradually, the trend was to build west of I-355.

As those areas opened up as a result of development, they could have turned into prosperous zones. It would appear the criminal and political class have put their feet down -- "Nothin doing!"   Readers are invited to compare that with areas of Atlanta and Houston, places Obama would call racist.

Someone posted a link to this article on a thread about Roof's heinous act.
I must admit, I do not remember this story, and I live in Ca, though I was extremely busy running my business at the time.
Never heard of this site before, so it could be racist kind of site, but the story is real and did happen, and it's odd that it disappeared after only two days from the media.
