It pains me to realize that so many Americans... even among our forum members.... are too young to remember this radical Black Panther activist from the 1960s and Communist Party leader.  She was a peer of Bill Ayers and other radicals of that day.  Had you lived then..... you would know that 99% of America believed these people to be dangerous and criminals.  They were our first introduction to citizens who hated our own Country.

It was people like her that convinced I was a conservative. I remember being really angry seeing and hearing these people as I was seeing my friends die in Vietnam

Not long before my Dad passed away last year I tried to connect the dots for him..... from Angela Davis to the halls of today's WH.  There is undoubtedly a breadcrumb trail that leads right to the oval office!

It is the failure of the msm to connect those dots that gives us the realities of today.  In truth... the crumbs lead also to the control rooms of the msm and academia.  They infiltrated and permeated our sources of knowledge.

That is a fulfillment of Khrushchev's prediction!  He said that the grandchildren of Americans in that generation would be communist..... without a shot fired.

I thought she was dead, too.  Who was that person who was in an explosion and they determined he was dead by finding what was left of him--his little finger?

LOL! Yeah, I thought she and a group of radicals was in a shootout with police and a bomb they were building blew up during the firefight.
Yeah, it's been way too many decades to remember accurately.

Might be a case of wishful thinking.

Every cloud has a silver lining.  Keeping up with Angela Davis, we always know where the cutting edge of communism lies. I thought she had a job with the CA University System. No, she's working the African refugees in Europe, Germany. What does that tell us.

Remember, the Oakland scam was "police brutality." They called themselves the Black Panther Party of Self Defense. Oakland's right after Flint in Ten Most Dangerous.  Stockton's bankrupt. Compton has been described as, "Where modern civilization meets the jungle."  Who is it, actually, that needs self defense?

It's good to be aware of this psychotic Lesbian.  After all, the play book remains unchanged. Police brutality still plays. War on police still plays. Only, its getting worse.  Get a clue, Germany, and send them back where they came from.  They will take your generosity and kindness, then stab you in the back.

I knew she had become a College Professor.  Along with the likes of Bill Ayes, Bernadine Dohrn, Ward Churchill, etc. ,she is a prime example of what people are getting for the tens of thousands of dallars per year that they so eagarly pay to get their children 'educated'.  The question is always ; Are they the entire Iceberg (of Communists indoctrinating our youth) or do they only represent the tip of that iceberg.  The answer is simply; where do you think people like Barak Obama get all of their 'brillent' insight into how the world works and how everything should be run!
The press is our chief ideological weapon.

There are points in history that I wish we could incapsulate and feed accurately into the brains of every succeeding generation.  The 60s is is just such a time.  It was definitely a period of transition.  The drug culture, flower children, radical revolutionaries, and the loss of innocence.

That was when we began to lock our front doors at night and question the motivation of other people.  Until then, we all thought that we shared our values and ethics with every other American.  Our eyes were opened to the unthinkable.  There was evil in our midst.  You had to stop and think before you did what you previously considered normal and decent..... like picking up hitch hikers.  You had to caution your children about talking to strangers.

America was no longer the safe haven for families.  We went from being a communal society to a cautious society.

I know that every generation talks about the "good old days", but there truly were good old days prior to the 60s....... one of the most devastating periods in our national moral history.  It was a revolutionary period in our history in which Angela Davis played a significant role!!!   But we knew it back then!  Today she is just another name in the cleansed history books.

I graduated from college in 1965 and so, like some here, faced head on the transition kroz refers. I could have gone either way. Fortunately, my upbringing and solid set of core values guided me to the correct fork in the road. One only has to go to Haight-Asbury in San Francisco to see some of the ones who took the other fork. They are still there.

Boy, are you right about that!!!  I was in the old stomping grounds of Janis Joplin and crew in Haight-Asbury a few years back.  It still has the stench of drugs and counterculture everywhere.  There is absolutely nothing appealing about it.  But it was once thought to be the center of the enlightened groupie world.  Youth from across the country flocked there in search of enlightenment...... never to be seen or heard of again!  It was a swirling vortex of death and destruction.... mostly from drug overdoses.
(Professing to be wise they became as fools. Romans 1:22)

I was raised up sitting in the pews and knew of no one who went into this direction.  But I saw and heard about it on the evening news daily!

daidalos

Thank God I missed those days! By the time I was in college they had schools like Hillsdale ROFL That said, this commie looks as if an APV ran over her head a few times. I mean sheesh what is it with these libs, they all look like the angel of death warmed over

One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)

I am glad that you did not experience it either, daidalos, but I am concerned that anyone that did not experience it is not really capable of understanding the extent of the manipulation of young minds today.  Unless you were home schooled and went to college at Hillsdale, you are likely affected in ways you do not realize.  I know that my own kids are.... and they were home schooled and went to Wheaton College before going on to other colleges and universities.  They were sheltered and taught in every way I knew how, but they still have a bit of the wrong influence in their thinking.  And they do not realize it.
