It is May and our annual Florida invasion has begun. I was out doing some errands this morning and noticed all the FL tags. Many come up the first of May and go back at the end of October. This allows them to fulfill their six month requirement to be a FL resident and not have a state income tax. They are welcomed as they bring money.

It is May and the Texas valley is empty!!  The snowbirds have returned to their northern nests for a few months.   

Come October they return by the tens of thousands!  .... not sure they add that much to the TX economy.  If they were rich they would be going to FLA.

We get something similar. Only ours are BAT's, Bay Area Trash, libs escaping the cold summer months along the coast.
They come up as weekend warriors with all the latest toys imaginable, form RV's to quads, bikes, UTV's and leaving in their wake, human excrement, and all the trash they refuse to pack out.
Yeah, they claim to be environmentalists, but the rules only apply to everyone else, and that goes for respect of private property, something they refuse to recognize.

They are the reason we have so many obnoxious laws regarding the forest, they tear up the area, make a mess, then their ecofreak buddies push for invasive travel restrictions in the forest.

Did I mention just how much I despise libs?

We get 'em coming up from Kentucky and West Virginia. We built bridges over the Ohio River so they can swim in the shade.

Hey, I did not realize that Ohio was "hillbilly heaven" for the lower Ohio River crowd!!

They always look the same... like a gothier version of Jeanine Garafolo, or someone who could pass as Elizabeth Warren, with glasses that scream "somebody please think I'm smart!!!".  They never, ever dissapoint.
