tThe advent of international refugees being introduced into our cities has begun in my city and has been in the works for over a year.  Select committee persons who look after the impact of such an event cannot get answers to any of their questions.  The questions asked are reasonable and the citizens of this city want to know how our help programs, medical assistance programs, educational programs and the rest will be impacted since we have ongoing needs in our community with resources already drained.

The most important question is about how these people were screened.  Speaking from a security standpoint, how has these folks been cleared as terrorists?  The UN is actively involved in this event and some former special ops in terrorism have already said that the UN does not have a clear way of discerning the attitudes or backgrounds of the refugees.

This article was put on Conservative Radio/Bob McCain yesterday but some news articles of the event were published in our home newspaper a few months back.

That's why I don't understand this "we can't send them back on buses" crap.  Why can't we?  Just run a few hundred buses daily, throw some in prison, make some self deport... we can clean them out.  Not overnight, but it certainly can be done.  They were imported here by Hussein and the GOP.  We can deport them.

This new crop of immies is coming here from Bataan, Congo, and Syria.  Gonna' need EVERYTHING done, including being provided with translators, all tax payer and Federally funded.  Now y'all know we have all kinds of starving folks here and already citizens.  What the heck do we need the problems of other countries for?

In the link provided, I was totally surprised to see where one of the host churches is from the neighborhood I grew up in.  Oak Grove Baptist is a really old congregation in the West View community just a mile or so from our big Westgate Mall.  I was just pondering the possibility of these refugees being deposited in that neighborhood and it almost made me laugh.  That would be a stretch-really.  I know most everyone from that area, even though it has really grown since my youth days.  Trust me when I tell you that the people already there won't be happy with these added additions if they are placed near them.

The idea of moving refugees into a city with the idea of just integrating and not assimilating is a curiosity to the citizens of that city.  Put the children into schools with translators?  Heck, we can't even attract lower end teachers with our current pay scale so how in the world are we gonna' afford speciality teachers?

Too many unanswered questions remain as these refugees are being deposited here.  I've got a sneaky feeling that citizens are going to bear the heaviest of this load.  Just bring 'em here and everyone can just get over it.  That seems to be the favorite attitude on the left.

You don't honestly believe that the "stake holders" are furnishing any of the money and resources it's gonna' take to get these people going do you?  That was tongue-in-cheek Walks.  We are going to pay for it.  On the other hand, some SC citizens wants to raise our taxes to fix our roads when the money already collected each year was supposed to be able to handle it and that is just one problem.  We're begging to get our roads fixed yet we have enough money to back all these immigrants coming here?   This is insane and enough to make a preacher cuss.   We aren't even real sure that some of them aren't terrorists.  Dam

It's a damned shame... the price we pay for being compassionate conservatives.

In a vacuum, I'd be like;  Okay, ass-holes.  I'll take control of your alien wastrels... and I'll turn them into ten-times the Americans that you'll ever be.  And they'll be better shots than I'll ever be.  Now get outta here.

hmm....  It appears to me that a major issue is flying under the radar here.

The article you posted, keyboarder, was distinctively aimed at pulling the heartstrings of Christians.  It said all the right things to make Christians feel responsible for these "refugees" and feel guilty if they did not embrace them.

Spartanburg was likely picked as the recipient of these folks because it IS a strong Christian area.

You guys are being conned!

These refugees are probably all muslims..... not the persecuted Christians from abroad.
This Administration has no concern for the poor Christians persecuted for their faith.  They are using this as an opportunity to bring more muslims into our nation and putting them in areas where they will cause the most conflict with Christians.

There is method to Obama's madness.  He is trying to pollute and diffuse Christian strongholds in our Country.  Over a couple of generations, Muslims will become the majority and gain the political advantage.

This is Trojan Horse warfare at its best!

We are aware of this.  The Bible says to love your enemies, not enemies of God.  That is line that we Christians draw just in case some of them are viewing this column.  God expects his Christians to stand for right and some battles have to be fought.  Joshua comes to mind plus many others in days gone by.  I'm thinking mainly of battles that may be here, not the ones we go out of our way to fight in other countries.  Muslims are worshippers of Mohammed and therefore enemies of God.  It can't be explained any better than that.  Of the many that are coming here, some of them are going to be terrorists.  That's already happened.  Some were schooled and trained in the very manner that they attempted to or succeeded in destroying American citizens.

Just ask another poster, Ragin'Rebel, what action awaits those that come into our communities wanting to destroy them.  I don't know if he would say exactly what we have here in Dark Corners but I'm pretty sure he sets on ready as does this entire community.

I know of certain cells of people in my locale and as far away as where my husband works (42miles from home) that are survival trained and ready.  I won't discuss details for obvious reasons but this action was taken by various groups several years ago.

The sheriff in this county and the surrounding ones are members of that list of sheriffs that have vowed to uphold the constitution and that will not turn their guns on their citizens.  I feel like our sheriff would be true to his convictions.  He has been the most upright one that has ever served as sheriff here.  Time is soon coming when we will see who stands for what.

I am neighbor to a few liberal neighbors who are just in the dark on political issues, kinda like the deer staring into headlights when you bring up anything in the way of the threats we face but there is one red-neck neighbor at the end of our street who has enough survival kits of food for the entire neighborhood (7 families) for i year.  Of course the liberal ones don't ever see of a time when they might need one of these.

One thing more dangerous than would be terrorists to me are those that don't consider these as a threat to us.   These types of people don't see evil until it lands on their doorstep.  Notice the headlines in the news or on tv(especially tv) when any kind of tragedy occurs involving human violence.  I believe the interviews of witnesses are scripted to say "who would have ever dreamed this could happen here"?

Some of us are trying to let our concerns be known, asking questions persistently and continuously until we get the answers and solutions that needed to be forthcoming to start
with.

Since Islam is the religion of peace, why don't they send these refugees to Islamic countries and let the peaceful Muslims take care of them?

kroz

Why do they not send them to muslim countries?

..... because that simply does not fit the game plan.  The intent is to spread the faith!

...... and bring Sharia Law to a neighborhood near you!

Bluetick

Darth, that is one excellent question and I think it ought to get asked more often.
In fact it ought to be the automatic response every time we hear the same crap about islamophobia.
