The only way the Democrats can win is if the Republicans run a "Democrat Lite"; someone who pretty much agrees with the Democrat agenda, concedes most of their talking points but wants to put a GOP "spin" on it.

Given a choice between a "True" Democrat and a Republican pretending to be a Democrat, the American voter will go for the Real McCoy every time. Not so much because the believe in the Democrat Platform, but because the can see that the Republican is an obvious phoney! 

That is what happened in our last two presidential elections. (I might even go so far as to say the last 4 presidential elections - 2000 should have never been that close and the only reason Bush won in 2004 was due to 9/11 and the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.)

This time, if all goes well, Americans will have a real choice and I think we will all be pleasantly surprised with the choice they (we!) make!

We had muscums attack, and overrun an American embassy. Which is, per international law not only an attack upon the sovereign territory of the United States, but is also an act of war. Who then murdered American Citizen's there. Which is bad enough by itself, but these citizen's also happened to be an American Ambassador, and two former navy seals who went/were sent (we don't know) there to protect that Ambassador, that Citizen of the United States.

(which I believe was an attack on YouTube because they allow anti-obammy video's to be posted, despite their request to YouTube that they not allow that, but I digress into a free speech issue there and a diff topic)

Then when questioned by Congress about this (what we now know to be a lie as the video had actually been released a year prior not just then as both Shillary and The Obammy claimed) she tried to obfuscate. And weasel her way out of any responsibility at all.

For this administrations decision, not to send those seals and that ambassador the help they were desperately calling for apparently.

Despite the fact that a Air Craft Carrier battle group was like seven miles away. Her carpet bagging/baggage and all the crap that went on the last time Shillary was in the White House (see attempted theft of White House Property which we the people actually own) Not withstanding that stuff.

While she was secretary of state, should be all the reason one needs NOT to vote for her. When you look at the complete picture of shillary, you find a cold, thieving, evil bitch. One who is complicit in the murder of three American citizen's, one of whom was an ambassador.

A woman who deserves not our votes, but our scorn, derision, disapproval, and disdain. Shillary is clearly a  woman who should  be voted down/against. A woman who we the people, shouldn't allow to hold any office within our government ever again.

I had not given a debate between Hillary and Cruz much thought, but is sounds delicious. She is a sham and with his intellect and debate skills she would be mince meat. And then the "war on women" screams would be unbelievable.

Carson is too naïve for politics.  He might be a good Surgeon General or something similar.  The other two are a waste of time.

I agree with you (and respectfully, have to disagree with my friend, Solar).  Ben Carson is a good man and has an incredible story of accomplishment and achievement!  Solar may be reacting to the fact that so many insiders have gotten behind him that he thinks Carson has been manufactured by them.  He's not.  Ben Carson is the genuine article, just like Sarah Palin is!  Unfortunately, Carson has proven that he doesn't have the political savy necessary to win; it's just not his forte! Sarah Palin, on the other hand...did (and still does) that is why the media and the rest of the Democrats have so badly slimed her that they have poisoned the well with the otherwise uninformed voters.  Sarah has therefore made herself a valuable booster, rather than the standard bearer.  I hope Dr. Carson will do the same and help our nominee defeat the Communist Insurgants!

Two reasons I don't back Carson. One, he doesn't understand the term "Core Values" as in understanding of the Bill of Rights.
The other, is the fact that it was the GOP that backed him speaking at WH prayer breakfasts over the years.
So what we have here is an unvetted by Conservatives, but vetted by the Establishment candidate.
