Ohhhh this is good.

QuoteLYNCHBURG, Virginia — In what was clearly meant to be an attack on Sen. Ted Cruz's presidential campaign, announced shortly after midnight, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) may have accidentally admitted that it's worried about a Cruz GOP presidential campaign—noting in an email to supporters that his announcement "sent shivers down" their spines.

"If you're like us, just reading that phrase probably sent shivers down your spine or produced a pretty serious roll of the eyes," the DNC said in what it calls a "Factivist" email to supporters early on Monday. "But as of this moment, Texas Senator Ted Cruz is officially running for president, and if we don't do everything in our power to stop him, the possibility of President Ted Cruz could become a reality."

Here are the talking points, and if this is the worst they can do, they're in big trouble.

Quote"He has obstructed everything from raising the minimum wage to paycheck fairness to immigration reform. He would give corporations and the richest Americans huge tax breaks, at the expense of working Americans."

No two ways about it. The Democrats are scared shitless! The reason is simple - with the exception of Scott Walker (who hasn't announced he's running, yet) Cruz has one thing that all of the other GOP hopefulls lack...

-Just heard/saw the announcement-speech and it was amazing.  Far exceeding everyone's expectations, I believe.  Inspirational and stoic.  Highlighted by a bold abolish the IRS declaration, which brought the house down.  The NON-TELEPROMPTER speech lasted about 50-minutes, in a theater-in-the-round format so he addressed the audience directly in the eye whichever way he turned.  Indescribably refreshing, to me.

He promised to repeal 'every single word of obamacare' and to banish the entire concept of commoncore, which also brought thunderous approvals from the crowd.

Exceptionally well-done, overall.  I'm sure that Dems will react immaturely to it.

His leadership will be sorely missed in the Senate, but I think that is a small price to pay to have a man of his caliber in the White House!

You summed it up perfectly. And yes, the libs are in panic mode over this.
One of the issues that really seem too set them off is where he announced his WH run, and the fact that he's a Christian.
I have to ask, is this really that big an issue, and will it actually anger more of the country over the leftists reaction and vitriol towards Christianity?

I don't want to turn this into a discussion over religion, but I don't see this as a winning issue for the Dim party.

I don't know Dr. Carson has a spine. He didn't and won't back down on his views about gays. (which he's right about btw)

That said, you guys are right, the dimwits are scared shitless. Because those in power at the DNC know, that they know, they are in the minority, and in trouble, serious trouble with the voters in America.   :woot:
One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)

Why would the left be afraid of Cruz?  He's at the opposite end of where they are.  I would think he would be the one they would want Hillary to run against.
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

They are scared because, unlike RINO's, they know conservatism wins.

Think two bloody midterms where the Conservative base turned out and left the leftists in a bloody heap.
That's what the left is afraid of, the base rallying around Ted, theincluding rino establishment is worried as well, because as Rush pointed out, Cruz could force others to run further right, leaving rino like Bush left looking like an out of touch fool.

Another reason for the dems (hope you're reading this dems) to be somewhat anxious is the fact that Ted Cruz gets along famously with Bibi.  I'm sure that Bibi would appreciate the common sense of Ted Cruz in supporting, actually standing by, our ally-Israel.

Well, the dems might have time to recuperate from this announcement but on it's heels will be another big announcement of or made by Scott Walker.  My, my, are we having fun yet?    :tounge:

I think BIBI will find support from any conservative running. One big question will be the Jewish vote in 2016! Have they had enough of the Dim's And could a Jewish crossover offset the democrat push for Hispanic votes?

I guess Ted will just have to speak directly to them in Spanish.

Mr.Cruz welcome aboard. I look ffor to seeing you in the White House.

The funny part of this whole Cruz running for president is watch the liberal "birthers" come out of tghe woodwork.
People sleep peacefully at night because there are a few tough men prepared to do violence on their behalf.

A foolish man complains about his torn pockets.

A wise man uses it to scratch his balls.

"Birthers" will make some noise. Cruz will quickly set the record straight, but the distraction will continue. It will have no impact during the primaries.
