I guess I don't understand your point.

The bulk of RINO's aren't very different than the progressive liberal socialists.  Both want a one-world govt, both want the constitution to go away, both want progressive-style monolithic govt to keep the masses controlled.  Main difference is the progressives want the world-wide communism......and the RINO's want a world-wide economy controlled by billionaires, possibly trillionaires one day.  With the emergence of the RINOs + Soros, GE, Immelt, Steyer, Buffett, Gates, et al.......the line is totally blurred.  Think Teddy Roosevelt and Franklin Roosevelt getting together for a joint effort.

The MSM, DNC, Hollywood, and academia are the ones that continue to lump the TP and RINO's together, not the actual players from each camp.  They've gotten away with it so far, but hopefully the tide has turned, and we've got capable people fighting back.

No, they believe (and rightly so) that Democrats (Progressive and Socialist are redundant when talking about Dems...) and the Republican Establishment as typified by RINOs are one and the same thing!

Very few politicians who sport an "R" after their names are Constitutional Conservatives. In fact, I would say you could count the number of true Conservatives in Congress without running out of fingers and toes. In the Senate, you could probably count them on one hand - two at the very most!

The RINO's and progressives have slowly blurred together over time, into a philosophy that just doesn't want the open-competitive capitalism, constitution-based America experiment to go any further.

Crony capitalism in the hands of a few, and communism, are what they want.  And a pure capitalist / constitutional society is anathema to that.  I guess what they would like, would look a lot like China.  Possibly Russia if Putin can steer it back toward the USSR.

What the bomb-throwers and anarchists couldn't accomplish over the last 240 years, I guess these guys are working toward.
