He said unless the Iraqis pledge that political compromise is in the future, then the U.S. ground forces are "just a temporary solution."

He also said he does not believe that the president has the constitutional power to send 1,500 troops without an act from Congress because it has been more than 60 days since he announced his strategy – a stipulation of the War Powers Act.

He said those concerns would likely surface in Congress when lawmakers return this week.

"I think a lot of us are going to be very reluctant to support this kind of infusion of group troops absent some suggestions," he said.

Well, Murphy looks to be 'White', so Obama probably gives a rat's ass what he thinks.

As for caucuses, I bet the Black Caucus will go along with whatever Obama does, but the Hispanic Caucus might be a different story. I don't think they're to happy with him right now because he's still hedging on doing an outright amnesty for the illegals.

Obama's house of cards are starting to crumble right before our eyes. I sure hope Michelle has big shoulders for Obama's crying eyes.

Even if it gives our Weasel-In-Chief the political cover he wants, I think the weasels' in Congress owe it to the American people to have a real debate about whether or not we declare war on ISIS (ISIL).  They hold territory and have declared themselves to be a new "islamic state" and have declared war on us.  Even if this hadn't occurred, there is prescedent in our nation declaring war on a group of murdering (coincidenally islamic) Thugs, operating within the boundries of other countries, when our nation had it's first 'declared war' on the marauding pirates of the Barberry coast..."shores of Tripoli" (That's when Pres. Thomas Jefferson obtained his personal copy of the Quran ...the one Rep. Keith Ellison used to swear his oath of office)
