I was surprised to see him let Jesse go.
I loved how he cut out the cancer in the end that he created, even the poison was a nice touch.

It was one of those shows I was hooked from the first 5 minutes.  The whole cast was talented.  Even the twists on how you look at Walter, like when we find out about the kid being poisoned.  Or the plane crash, like the moment you realize the debris falling over the city was a result of Walter rolling Jesse's girlfriend over on her back.

The show didn't disappoint, and what I love is they stopped it right on time.  They didn't let it jump the shark.  They made a kick ass show for 5 seasons and got out.

I loved the fact that it started out as a one time thing way out in the desert, and never stopped. I loved that!

The life of a sociopath. In his mind he was right in everything, because he used his family as justification for his every wrong.
He could kill with impunity, because he could exonerate his every action by claiming "family first".

I guess that's why I liked the show so much, it allowed the viewer the prism of self reflection, the ability to compare ones values with those of a psycho.

In his mind, everything was justified through the optics of protecting the lives of the ones he loved, or thought he loved.
Using his metrics, one could justify about anything, and that's what the show allowed the viewer to see, just how far are you willing to go to justify immoral actions.

This is also a metaphor for liberalism when you think about it.
