"Repeal it!"

Now that he is calling for the repeal of Obamacare, would you vote for him? Why or why wouldnt you vote for him?

Frankly, I don't trust the guy. Here's a one-term Massachusetts governor who ran on fiscally conservative principles -- he did NOT campaign on health care reform -- whose signature accomplishment as governor is RomneyCare, a state-run version of ObamaCare. On his watch, the people of Massachusetts got themselves saddled with a health care program that promised universal coverage through an individual insurance mandate and lowered costs through streamlined procedures and state-organized insurance pools. Sound familiar? Today, Massachusetts does NOT have universal coverage (the mandate flopped) and health care costs have increased every year and are now adding to the state's deficits. Sound even MORE familiar?


ObamaCare is bad in many ways, one of the most significant of which is the fact that it's unconstitutional for the national government to meddle in such matters. Under our federal system, it is perhaps legal for individual states to do so... but I think a thing can be technically legal and profoundly stupid at the same time.


Whether he likes it or not -- and these days he most definitely does not -- Mitt owns RomneyCare. I'd have more respect for him if he'd just learn to wear the mantle he sought so eagerly as a governor.

I won't vote for him for two reasons; his old man George, and his religion. If that makes me a bad fella- so be it.

I don't even want to entertain the idea of another RINO in the WH.
Lets find another candidate to mull over please, this guy sucks!!!

I wouldnt vote for him either.

Either you're very prophetic, or that was a typo. ;)

Either way, were still two years off, and anything can happen between now and then.

Romney is not my guy but why is his health care plan in Mass. considered a problem? The state wanted it and he enacted it.

You are right. He gave the state what it wanted. However, I am not at all convinced he would repeal Obamascare. Why? He's a RINO. If is for this reason I dont like Romney.

I am embarrassed to say I don't know enough about that.  I need to do do some research on the whole RomneyCare thing.  I have just heard bits and pieces.
