Here is what we are up against.
The only hope is that it is stopped from the inside.

So what, it should still belong to the state it's in to do with as the government of that state sees fit. I'll bet that none of the state governments would have shut down the parks the last time we had some type of a shut down. Besides I'm guessing that the locals have a better idea of how to use the land - as opposed to some bureaucrat in DC, who is busy sucking up to his/her EnviroNut buddies.
Well duh, I'm just pointing out the fact that the states saw it as a source of revenue from the fed.

Hmm...What's new!  Remember I live in Washington State where you keep counting the votes until a democrat wins.

Of course you are correct. However, it is always best to push anything down from the feds. Federal bureaucrats can easily become invisible.

The West states could actually resurrect it's logging industry if the states simply took back the land.
What does some 'drone clone' in DC know about anything outside of their little bubble? The people that live and work the land, are the ones they should be asking how best to utilize and protect it.

It's how the sierra club was formed, a hand full of private plane owners decided it would be of interest to others to point out bad logging practices, a view only they had, and soon the group was infiltrated and taken over by the greens in the Bay area, people that had never even set foot in the Sierra,  let alone ventured beyond the pits of SF.

Now we have these same freaks dictating how we, the people that live in the Sierra, what we're allowed to do with the land.
Of course, with the Marxist Moonbeam as Governor, he loves the extra money from the Fed and is always looking for more ways to increase that revenue, so I don't expect anything to happen as long as the leftists are in charge.
