So when was the last time you were in high school or college?  This is not the 30's or 40's.

It really has changed.  I was in high school in the early 90s, and I expected to at least work for my lifestyle and not have shit handed to me.  It amazes me how these kids have such low self esteem and no ambition.

Also, I thought these kids were a lot better than the other forum that tries to raid.  This Atlas one would at least try to discuss.  LibIntellecual, Flo, Bismarck, and another I can't think of at least try to discuss instead of posting and running.  The reason I can't stand JRP is not because he's stupid, but because he touts he's a Republican, while posting like a Marxist.  He can just admit he's a Marxist, and that would be fine.
I believe a lot of young libs abandoned the Dim party for Libertarianism but still carry the ideology of a Marxist, because that's what they've been taught, that being rich equates to evil.
Imagine that, they live in a Capitalist society, a society that's built, innovated, and invented more than any culture on earth, and they've been led to believe that it's somehow evil to succeed.

At least two generations of teachers colleges have had the time to soften the horrors of socialism, and to reinvent which political movement did what to whom and how badly.

This is what happens when you don't have time for your kids and let the schools control their way of thinking.  It ok if you don't know what pie r squared mean.  You don't need that in real life.  You just need to know how to fill out forms for food stamps.

Ask them how much work it took to build, say, Reddit or Facebook or any of a zillion other sites they go to. Ask them to condemn the inventors of handheld devices most now use, which provide so much entertainment and connectivity with others.

They can't. That's how they spread their ignorance about how America really works.

When I was young I thought I could do anything.  These kids don't seem to have that confidence or desire.

These kids are really scared of math nowadays.  Trigonometry, for example, is like alien technology to them.  It is so weird and sad.

It remind me of the line from "Animal House" when the Dean of the school looked at Flounder and said "Son, fat, stupid and lazy is no way to go through life".

I wish I could make that the ring tone on my phone.
If you believe big government is the solution then you are a liberal. If you believe big government is the problem then you are a conservative.

"pie r squared" is a very important thing to learn. It explains
what is going on today and why we aren't moving forward.
"Everything must have a purpose?" asked God. "Certainly," said man. "Then I leave it to you to think of one for all this," said God. And He went away.

Well, then, I guess it's up to verbal terrorists to reacquaint them.

It truly is sad, here we are in a Capitalist society, a country where innovation and entrepreneurship is the envy of the world, and these kids are being taught that success and boundless riches is somehow evil.
