we got about 8 or 11 new inches of snow night before last. The winds were alot of fun to deal with it all. Planes Trains and Auto has nothing on shovels, leaf blowers ans snow blowers... we were at it a good majority of the day.... Himself had to go this morning,,,he has an issue to deal with,,, exterior exploding pipes bringing 2" of water inside.... Hopefully he can make it to the property.   He is geared up  Roads are crap,,, the plows stopped last night at 5 pm because of blowing and drifting.   Lots of road closures and warnings of snow/ice everywhere.... this is nuts....

Was out side on the back deck having coffee with The Dude, she only lasted 10min. as it was 17º out.   That not even -17º that Himself will be in. Hope all will go well for Himself.

28º last night for us.  I made chicken noodle soup for us last night.  M said I haven't lost my touch. lol   Will fix some Moose rib steak tonight.

Glad your surviving.  Soup is always good at times like this.  Hoping himself made it home without too much issue.

My sister, in Arkansas, posted today that her 2 boys almost didn't make it home.  And even once there they couldn't get up the driveway because of the ice.  My brother in law took his 4x4 down to pull the other car up and his truck started sliding down the mountain.  Fun times...

And people wonder why I don't even try to leave the mountain in weather like that.

It was crazy! salt truck fuel gelling up,,winds to fast to keep up,,,everyone told don't drive unless you must and go slow... one night Himself said the roads were great coming home the next morning people were slipping n sliding like a bumper car track...  my street is still white with it,,,black ice is still alot of fun,,,but starting today things are getting much much better... Just think it's gonna rain this weekend,,,, whooohooooo,,, not so much...

so far so good,,,, most of the flood warning watch is 1 county over. Of course that means nothing,,, but its something....

I am within two hours of the number 1, Elfie aren't you near number 6?  I knew I lived in a blue state, I had no idea it had to do with my fingers and toes though.

So, am I so young that I am too stupid to go in, or so old that I can't feel when I should?  I was thinking it was just the -60 wind chill.    Thank the good Lord it was finally warm today and looking better for next week.

LOL There a very nice young lady on the board that said age is what you make it.  So I have been 45 for a very long time.
