Have wondered that myself. He hasn't been on the Loose Nuts Forum, either.

His father died and not long after, his dog died.
I think he just needed to do some soul searching, it's hard when you lose those close to you in such a short time.

But to be honest, I don't really expect him to return, at least not this year, though, I could be wrong.
