Here ya go Supposn, you asked for a thread on this scam, so here it is in a nutshell.

The Govt disguises this tax as an incentive to produce less Co2, and for what?
First you have to buy into the lie of AGW, then the Govt sticks you with a limit on how much of this gas you are allowed to produce, but the work around is to buy carbon credits from those not producing Co2 in the first place.

So what has been accomplished? Absolutely nothing but a tax, the Co2 has not been reduced, the only gain is to Govt in the form of a fee, or rather TAX.

Can any members provide additional information rather than ideological opinions regarding carbon tax proposals?

What freakin detriment? Those are all lies, Co2 is a tool of the socialists to control our energy production.
Wake up Supposn, Co2 is a beneficial gas to support life, without it we would perish.

The EU carbon trading scheme has been an epic failure. Billions of taxpayer dollars wasted. Fraud and abuse running rampant. And no verifiable shift in behavior.
