Pew: Liberal support for Obama at all-time low, worse than George W. Bush and conservatives

Following on the heels of other political groups, President Obama's liberal base is abandoning him, giving him an even lower level of support from his base than George W. Bush had from conservatives five years into his presidency, according to a new Pew Research Center poll.

Just 54 percent of liberal Democrats strongly approve of Obama in their new poll. For Bush at this stage of his presidency, 65 percent of conservatives strongly supported the Republican.

Worse for Obama: Younger liberals have lost their thrill for Obama more than older liberals. Of those aged 18-49, just 46 percent strongly approve of the president, 39 percent "not so strongly," said Pew.

It's a moot point really. Obama's two terms are up. It doesn't alter the ideology of the left. Whereas capitalism and conservatism are considered failures, by them, at the group level, they are more generous with themselves. Failure by a liberal always falls on the individual liberal and doesn't reflect upon the group. They will just rinse and repeat.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 made great changes in the way America operated.  It took only 44 years until the first black President.  The sad part is that he is such a failure, I doubt if any of us will be alive when the next black President is sworn in.

Well the messiah did exactly what we said he would do. Right after the election we said Obama would bring forth a progressive agenda that would scare the hell out of the voters. The only part we got wrong was Obama winning reelection. However the irony is delicious. The Democrats elevated this nobody because he was the perfect vehicle to finally remake this country into European socialist one. Instead this nobody set back progressives and Democrats by decades.
