Scabies.
Just heard of an outbreak on the radio. These things are like the itch of poison oak, and they itch at their worst when you're warm, like when you're trying to fall asleep.
I've had them twice, once in Korea, and again, 7 years later when I was managing a men's clothing store, clothes imported specifically from Korea.
This is one pesky little critter....

Is it just me? Why do I associate the term "seven-year itch" with divorce?

Maybe because of the Marilyn Monroe movie by that title, about infidelity and its effects.

Psoriasis is far, far worse. The very best you can get is a few months on any one medication, and it never, ever goes away. At least scabies offers that relief, given proper treatment.
