we have been so busy,,,I am actually thinking of leaving for a day or two...
River is coming along nicely,,we have been at it since I posted pics way back when.  But the pavers are in,,the sand bars and gravel bars are going away.. drive is leveled out and now the flagstone is going in. we have to bring it up about 3 inches then start laying flagstone. I figure about 2 more weekends before it is all done... then of course its docks and boats... Here wise the gardens are in,,I have 1 more raised bed to do,, I have a stray cat now living under the deck. it is keeping the bunnys away...
I've bveen making jam, strawberry and blackberry.. so far only 18 half pints... more to do as I can fit it in..
work is backed up because of all this weather. its been a bi-polar,  alot of rains,, hot one day,, get the jacket the next... its crazy,,,,
I have bluebirds nesting at the river,,, have only seen one eagle,,, and yesterday on the way home we saw a huge coyote with someones chicken zoomin across the road,,, he was  clippin really good.
Sorry I havent been in,,,hope everyone is doing well....
we are in a constant WHOOSH mode,,,,

  I think MeLady you and himself need a full weekend off with your feet up.   But then you would need to work extra hard before and after the two days.

Have to wait for August for that... this weekend is flagstone weekend... We, with help from a good river bud got the area refilled with about 5 inches of fill, now we tamp it down and start piecing the flagstone in.  Then I get the wheel barrel and go get some sugar sand that just magically appeared from the flood and start filling the spaces. I am soooo glad it will be dry,lol... I will have that  caught up and the pavers back checked in no time,,,thats my job when I am not scrapin sand gravel veins down to ground,lol... yep its still a work in progress... No rain til Sunday is a beautiful thing.....

Flagstone all done... Had to re-do half of it because his helpers went alot of to fast. Next is dirt.... we lost a good 70% to sand and gravel floating thru... Oh well.... end of project will soon be ending... We cant wait...

This is how much water the flushing event put under our cabin,,,,Himself removed everything under the cabin cept the fridge,,it ended up between the guard rails at the foot of the stairs.... all of the  ground stone sunk 3 to bout 9 inches or left. we are rebuilding the ground stuff.....
