Title: je_freedom
Post by: je_freedom on September 15, 2015, 10:10:08 PM
I'm in the process of making advance arrangements for when I depart.
That includes what to have written on my headstone.
I decided that I'd like to include a link to this page,
so people can look me up and see what I had to say.

Any visitors can find all my posts by clicking the link below:
http://conservativepoliticalforum.com/profile/?area=showposts;u=6423

Here's an archive of a site I built at GeoCities, before it went out of business:
http://www.oocities.org/capitolhill/lobby/8796/
I hope the moderators here at Conservative Political Forum
don't consider posting that link here to be "self-promotion."

Since there seem to be multiple moderators here,
I figure that this site will continue after each one passes away.
I just hope the guys keep replacing moderators as necessary
to keep this site going permanently.

I plan to leave enough money to keep this site going for the next 100 years, but knowing technology will change, I left directions for Toy to archive it's data and give the working site over to Taxed to continue on with his and my agenda of promoting the TEA brand of Conservatism.

What comes to mind is Harvard, Yale, Liberty University (a present day example of decline)

"The university was founded as Lynchburg Baptist College in 1971 by Jerry Falwell...
The name was changed to Liberty Baptist College in 1976...
before settling on its current name, Liberty University, in 1984, when it obtained university status."

Last week, Bernie Sanders was welcomed by Jerry Falwell Jr. to speak in morning chapel.
A Pastor I know who graduated from there, says tuition is FREE for his kids - none of them went.

When someone figures out how to preserve a movement as a viable force to be reckoned with for an extended period of time...
I'm not optimistic it can be done without something like a Bible or the Constitution ...  something that "anchors" the purpose and direction of the institution... even then, there is no guarantee it wouldn't become a tool for communism or tyranny.

My true objective is in preserving a snapshot in time, this site is priceless in our message for future generations.
I would hope that the message will be preserved for time continuum.

So true!
Looking back to the '80s, some of the stuff written back then - and how much things have changed, it looks like we didn't see the obvious coming!   Yet, it was the little things that chipped away at us, and the the Libs would make MAJOR changes, Newt slowed them up, and between the Libs and RINOs, it's been a steady march toward Socialism.  My dad would be sounding like Mark Levin if he were alive today.

The beauty of this Forum is how ideas and concerns are fleshed out, unlike a single position paper than can be twisted every-which-way.
