Youtube no longer works on my computer. Firefox is the browser. Hughs net is the internet provider,(nothing else out here, I am on a waiting list for star link). The youtube will come up and filter, but will never play. As of now, youtube will play on chrome, but I prefer not to use them. I tried resetting, checking for updates, and running troubleshoot, nothing. Any ideas? Computer is about a year or so old, windows 11. This started about three days ago. I tell you, this computer fad ain't gonna last too long with problems like this!!

Try resetting to a older version, before the last update. (Roll back)

I hadn't been plagued with updates for awhile, but about 8 days ago I was hit with one.
After that, half my progs and apps didn't work, some even crashed my pooter, then I got a new one the other day and fixed all their fuckups.
I hate Windows, but I'm too old to work on change at this point.

Yes,I googled how to fix "youtube is not working on firefox" and followed the instructions. On about the forth time, it started working again. It also went all night turned off instead of just sleeping. I guess everything got reset a half dozen times, and all cookies, history, etc cleared several times. You tube would work on other browsers, just not firefox. It didn't matter if I was on the youtube site or just pulling one up, the video would just sit there and load. Most of what is on it is not worth watching, but it is one great place to find old country and western music. With his passing I was in the mood for listening to Jerry Lee Lewis, what a talent.
