In several posts I have seen where the "quote" is broken into segments in order to respond better. How does one do that?

In the beginning, you hit the word quote on the right, then go to the very bottom and copy the word quote in brackets, click the end of the sentence or paragraph you want to quote, once it's quoted and
not highlighted in blue, hit enter to create a space, now be sure and delete the word "quote" you copied, or it'll screw up the entire post if you leave it in.
Then you hit enter to create space, highlight the text you want to quote, go up and click on this icon (https://conservativepoliticalforum.com/Themes/default/images/bbc/quote.gif)
And repeat.
