Boy, am I disgruntled! I just spent several minutes composing a Reply but couldn't read the Verification Image. I clicked on the link to get a different image. I got a new verification image alright, but it also gave me a blank text entry box. I lost all my work. It dumped my intended post right down the chute. Argh!!!!! :cursing:
That really needs to be changed!

You're the first to have issue with it.
Anyway, I assume, unless others simply couldn't get in?
It may be your browser, Firefox works well here.

Well, all you have to do is try sending a reply to this post, but hit the button for displaying a new Verification code image. You'll see your message disappear.
Modification: Oops! Hey, the old Verification screen and button are now gone. This Reply posted without any verification being required. I guess you fixed it. Great! Thanks a lot for you help.

This depends on your security settings. More secure settings will erase the contents of the text box. Sometimes these settings are required by employers of people who sometimes do work at home.
There is a fix for this: Select and copy your post first. If it disappears, paste it back.

I had the same problem 2 days ago. So now I copy my message before filling that form. I'm using a MAC-MINI.
